First and foremost, you must protect your rights and lodge a criminal complaint/FIR against the person who is threatning you. Secondly, if the money still lies in your wife's bank account it is bad evidence for your case. We can deal with all that later. 

As the Indian Penal Code (IPC) is repealed. You have to file a FIR as per the new Law which is BNS.

Go to your nearest police station (or cybercrime unit) and submit a written complaint. If police don’t act quickly, you can file a private criminal complaint directly before the Judicial Magistrate under Sections 500 & 506 IPC. Also do not communicate directly with the person anymore.
