► • A Contract was signed between Holiday Inn Resort Goa (A unit of AVERINA INTERNATIONAL RESORTS PRIVATE LTD) and Anup Bora on 23.03.2025 for destination wedding of my son for 3 nights considering 50 rooms with APAI meals together with Banquet hall+ Food and beverage for 3 days. An estimated amount was calculated considering all the above and 18% GST was considered in the calculation.
• A 30% advance was paid after signing a contract on 24.05.2025. Due to unforeseen circumstances the event has to be cancelled and request was sent 5 months in advance.
• As per advance payment clause, 30% advance payment is nonrefundable. Also, cancellation policy has a clause saying 180 days prior arrival the retention will be 25% and up to 120 days (50%). Using this clause refund was refused.
